Margarito must borrowed the wraps from Diego Corrales because he has red markings in the "same spot"

All wraps with red markings in that spot are the same wraps obviously.

His demeanor was not that of an innocent man.
He probably didn't know what it was. It was an insignificant piece of black thread which he was probably completely oblivious to whilst he was celebrating his victory.

Speaking of which, the demeanour of a guilty man with loaded wraps isn't to take off your gloves, parade around the ring and shake people's hands with the wraps in full view

The point is those loaded wraps had been used in a fight before Mosley. There is no doubt about that. They were stained red from the repeated use.

So he didn't know his gloves weren't cracked? Well apparently he had no idea about his wraps ever in his career so it's not impossible.

Margarito's mood changed completely when Cotto asked him this and he immediately became defensive.

Are you seriously defending Margarito? Even though there wasn't any circumstantial evidence in the Cotto fight, Nazim Richardson caught him with his illegally wrapped hands in the cookie jar for the Mosley fight, which was right after he fought Cotto. Once a cheater, always a cheater.

It's quite a simplistic way of looking at things.

Margarito took a lot of punishment against Cotto in the first fight and was expecting to face Oscar De La Hoya in a huge money fight. Instead Oscar ducked him and hid behind Mosley. That was a fight Margarito didn't really want because it was such a letdown after his biggest win.

He ballooned in weight and struggled badly to make 147 - his camp were actually using faulty scales which showed him being 2lbs over what he actually was. Reports that he was looking like **** in the gym. All could be reasons why the Mosley fight could have been the first time the wraps were used.

And once again, there's no proof he had any knowledge. Capetillo is the one who took full responsibility.

Things like this get glossed over because HBO and co want people not to ask questions.

You must not know boxing. Do you realize how long it took margs to get a big fight. When it takes you that long to get to the top and potentially looking everything in one loss can make some one do stupid things. And you do know citto said margs punches felt the same as the first fight right. You also know by the time of stoppage margs had landed nearly 100 less punches than the first fight right? Meaning the same kinda damage wouldn't be possible. Of course you knew that or else you'd be a biased idiot .

That sounds legit but I'm sorry I just can't buy that. And he knew what capetilllo was putting too. You don't load up a fighters gloves without him knowing. That's some scumbag ****. Nobody knows but I can't buy that he just decided to it vs Shane.

They could have been anyone's old wraps. The red spot doesn't automatically make them from the Cotto fight.

Thomas Hauser conducted interviews with 5 or 6 famous trainers including Dan Birmingham, Freddie Roach and Manny Steward who all said it was distinctly possible for them to do it without the fighter's knowledge. Which makes Steward;'s "performance" in the video even funnier.

In fact, Nasim Richardson himself admitted it could be done!
