Is narcissm a strength or a weakness or both? How so?

Usually you get stronger when you go through bad stuff and come out alive be it emotional or otherwise.

You get desensitized usually.


But what about narcissism? It seems to sensitizes you in someways and desensitizes you in others?

narcissism (which i assume you meant) is a grave mental disorder. people with this particular psychological illness are about the worst people to be around.

narcissism is defined (more or less) as having an incredibly distorted view of yourself, one where you consider yourself superior to everyone else and have little to no empathy for anyone but yourself. these people need to constantly be at the center of attention, receiving constant adulation. if not they are likely to snap one way or another. in fact, any critisism, or anything not going entirely their way will likely cause them to snap. often silently, but that makes them more dangerous.

so narcissism is pretty much synonymous with being a selfish, pompous ******* who brings nothing but misery to the people around them.

its a bad thing.
