I don't see any point to the poll. Starting boxing at 18 to 20 years old is plenty young enough for a boxer to reach his potential while he is still in his prime .Aj is in his late 20s so he has been a boxer for 10 years or so. Wilder is in his early 30s so he has been a boxer for 13 or more years. That's enough time for a determine boxer to reach any potential he has. Hopkins was in prison and didn't turn pro until age 30 when he got out of prison and look at his accomplishments. If AJ and Wilder had started boxing when they were 12 years old they would probably be better but not that much better. Boxing isn't rocket science and it doesn't take 20 years to learn.

Putting it out there, Ali wouldnt be that skilled if he boxed exactly how he boxed at HW against LWs.

Better than maybe all other HWs? Sure. But he wasnt that skilled in comparison to greats in lower classes.

SRL's inside fighting and general technique are leagues ahead of Ali.

Why do Wilder fans brag about his late start and the fact he got Olympic Bronze yet they don't acknowledge Joshua's almost equally late start and Olympic Gold and the fact he won a title in far less fights, beat a ranked opponent in less fights, unified a title in far less fights and defeated an elite opponent in far less fights?

Becuase Wilder lacks boxing skills and they are trying to make excuses for that.
