thats on record even earlier before negotiations for their fight. how can you not read that as clear as it is, how people can sstill hope for the fight when floyds reasoning is his health? cut the BS floyd is NOT fighting for any amount!

You realise of course, that 99% of thhe information on mayweather's final "take" comes from mayweather himself, who has a serial, obsessive need to out-do anyone else concerning money it's truly pathetic, but i couldn't care less, and won't cater to his strange behaviour.

He's aided and abetted by golden balls for whom it's a welcome aid to their feud with top rank. It's much to their business advantage to advertise themselves as being able to secure huge payouts for their fighters, even when untrue. I got as far as mayweather controlling the money, after ppv is paid. This is mere window-dressing. It makes no difference because golden balls has to be paid whatever contracted share they have agreed on. So they end up with the same amount no matter who "controls" the money. This is golden balls showing how nice they are to deal with, although they are merely hired promoters.

The New York Times reports on the payout Floyd Mayweather is set to receive from his fight against Victor Ortiz Saturday. With all said and done, Mayweather could be paid $40 million.
In addition to his reported $25 million payout for fighting Victor Ortiz, Mayweather will receive a portion of the gate, concessions, souvenirs and PPV revenue.
Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy Promotions explained the structure to the NY Times.

To explain the business model, Schaeffer starts with a pie. A little more than half goes to the distributors (Time Warner, DirecTV, etc.). The balance goes to the network, HBO or Showtime, which takes its distribution fees and hands the rest to the promoters.
In this case, [B]Golden Boy has one contract with HBO and another with Mayweather Promotions[/B]. But the money, less what distributors and networks take, is under Mayweather’s control; normally the promoter would control it.
In addition, there is the PPV revenue which Schaeffer includes other revenue streams from that:
Those streams include foreign sales for a fight broadcast in 168 territories; closed-circuit revenues (in 2,000 or so bars and restaurants nationwide, in theaters and in rooms at Las Vegas casinos); site revenue (ticket sales, merchandise); and sponsorships.
Its an unprecedented payment structure that rationalizes the opulence Mayweather flaunts. But for the spoils, there is the risk as Mayweather, or Mayweather Promotions, must put up $10 million in expenses to market the fight.

Okay looking at this fight deal we see this.....

1.) FLOYD PUTS UP 10 MILLION OF HIS OWN CASH AND YOU GUYS EXPECT HIM TO SPLIT THAT WITH MANNY?? (HE WILL PUT UP MORE FOR THE MANNY FIGHT)

THATS simply not logical at all. Floyd invests his cash upfront, and then splits it with manny...

FACT: Floyd also has a historical higher guarantee than pacquiao....

By co-promoting Floyd has a deal with goldenboy as well. So now he splits his earnings from GOLDENBOY WITH MANNY AS WELL??? So the more the fight makes, the more FLOYD MAKES, and he would be a ****** to give that up, because you guys feel he should...

But you want Floyd who "ALWAYS" invests money to split this as well with MANNY. Its simply not logical, and you fools are arguing with your hearts...

Remember from the Ortiz deal Floyd stood to make 40 million, now the point is this, his guarantee was 25 million and he was standing to make an additional 15 million because of his co-promoter status....

To make more sense out of it. Why would Floyd split 50/50 with manny when his very own promoter ARUM DOESNT DO IT, AND NEVER WILL DO IT. He will get his 27 percent. You see this is why Arum is pushing for 50% because he gets 27% of what pac makes.....

Pac has a ****ty deal and requesting promoter money (getting the same as floyd) while arum gouges him for 27 percent is something he needs to handle on his own. Lets say somehow PACQUIAO EARNED 75 MILLION FOR THIS FIGHT WITH A 50% SPLIT. Floyd also looks at this as a team effort, and will be looking at Bob arum and Pac getting too good of a deal. If Pac gets a flat rate of say 40 million he still has to pay arum 27% of that.which is over 10 million, but thats pacs fault.

PLUS IF MANNY GETS 50% HE WILL ALSO END UP WITH MORE AS HE IS SUING FLOYD!!! LOL

WOULD YOU DO THAT IF YOU WERE FLOYD??? I know personally I would make it where if he sued me, he would get his money, his flat rate and still end up with less than floyd...


PAC IS NOT A COPROMOTER, THATS WHAT ARUM IS... SO HE WOULDNT BE GETTING A 50% DEAL.... NO HOW NO WAY. AND MARK MAY WORDS HE WILL EVENTUALLY TAKE LESS MONEY..
