And yes America provides benefits unequally..

      Leeches get
      Free housing
      Free healthcare
      Free school lunches
      Free college
      Lowered testing standards
      Free food
      Free utilities..

All the productive people don’t get that stuff free.

You are right siablo, we need to end those unequal benefits
Canada never had a Jim Crow period.
America has to providing such things because they failed to provided them directly after slavery. Maybe if you operated like Canada after slavery ended you wouldn't have "leeches."

Then why aren't you looking to move to Canada, why is your eye always set on the USA?

Does this bill passing help Republicans or hurt them? I saw something on the night of the Alabama election that showed this Bill was liked by only 32% of voters.

If know Trump needs some legislative success and his messaging has made his base support for this strong but if the 32% is true then Republicans may be making a huge mistake.

This new revised bill literally helps everyone. It helps corporations the most by cutting the corporate rate from 35%(which is the highest in the world) to 21%, which now becomes on par with even some of the most socialist countries like Denmark or Sweden.

But it also helps you and me.

                  If you are making

38K-82K Single or 77K-165K married, your taxes drop from 25% to 22%

82K-157 Single or 165-315K married, your taxes drop from 28% to 24%.

Your child tax credits are doubled from $1000 to $2000. Your standard deduction (which 70% of Americans choose to do on their taxes) is doubled for single from 6K to 12K, and for married from 12K to 24K.

You can still write off your state and property taxes, albeit only up to $10,000 (where before it was unlimited). Which lets be honest if you are paying more than 10K in taxes you technically are pretty well off.

Here is a a pretty good breakdown

Yeah but Jim this is the short term. You can't just look at that. Long term this bill doesn't appear to help middle and working class people.

The long term is what is making everyone hate this thing.

What do you mean long term? How is this bill supposed to hurt people long term?
