Hagler is my favorite fighter, not Floyd. he is #2.

Like all rational human beings, I have a different standard for "actions of athletes I am a fan of" than I do "actions that I deem inappropriate for elected officials".

So yeah, Floyd slamming those groups the way he did wouldn't make me stop being a fan, but I would never vote for Floyd for an elected office.

I didn't like that he avoided reporters for 10 days prior to the election and that he refused to debate Jones either.

His actions enhanced the validity and credibility of the accusations made against him among his enemies and those who were willing to vote for him.
