Froch gets my vote. He had to claw, climb, scratch and grind his way to the top. He worked hard as nothing was ever handed to him. He had to come up on the rough side of the mountain.

Absolutely no doubt that Froch has a much much better resume.

Froch is the Man, not even AJ is on Carl Froch level.

Calzaghe by far. Dominated the much better version of Kessler (as opposed to going 1-1), dominant win over Hopkins who still went onto big wins. Significantly won every belt in the division whilst making 21 defenses in a 10 year reign and then became lineal at 175. Froch was never a pound for pounder whereas Calzaghe got to the top 2-3.

Froch wasn’t lineal or even the best guy in his division at any point. Bute win was good but was it any better than the Lacy win at the time? Both were underdogs but Lacy had the better reputation. Pascal, Taylor, Abraham, Johnson were good wins for sure but so were Brewer, Mitchell, Eubank, Woodhall, Veit for Calzaghe.

Calzaghe for sure. Better accomplishments, better career and better wins.

No. Froch has better overall wins. Woodhall, Mitchell etc? C'mon get real. Eubank was shot to **** and was training for a CW fight before he got the chance at Calzaghe a few weeks before. Losing so much weight had to affect him. Also Froch was P4P at least in the ring mag. Calzaghe wouldn't have been the top guy in a division with Ward either.

hmm that sounds good until you realize ottke did the same thing at the very same time in the very same division. ottke was also a unified champ before calzaghe and calzaghe simply collected his belts after he retired lol

Including multiple questionable decisions against guys that Calzaghe dominated.
