Interesting article... Seems charter schools are successful for black children.. NAACP wants to stop expansion of them, a bunch of black parents/grandparents raised hell, because they feel the charter schools are much better than the public schools..
You would think NAACP would be all for black youth succeeding in school, but they are pawns of the democrats and public teachers unions and are trying to stop expansion of charter schools, even though they are working for the black community...

This is a perfect example of how democrat party tries to keep blacks hooked on government..

I went to a charter school in HS after beating fools nearly to death a few times in regular HS all I did was beat rivals close to death in Charter, I literally never been to a charter school that was worth a damn. Black only like it cause if you know the answer to 2+2 your passing.

The NAACP wants no more public money diverted to charter schools at the expense of public schools, and it calls for charter schools to stop expelling students that public schools then must educate and to stop perpetuating what the NAACP calls "de facto segregation" of highest performing students from those who are currently as successful.

If money is diverted from public schools that can only lead to public schools getting worse. So I see the NAACP's point there. The other point is the charter schools get to pick, choose, and refuse which students they want something the public schools cannot do. So the charter schools will always seem to be doing better than the public schools.

That's what is being argued. Both sides have valid points. The families that benefit from their kids doing well at the charter schools vs the families that have to send their kids to the poorly funded public schools. I don't have a horse in the race.

Are you surprised? You can't let kids get a good education because then they'll start to see through the bull****. The best bet is to keep them dumb.

Most public schools are dropout factories anyway. It's where you put the kids who aren't going to amount to much in life and hope some of them make it. Money isn't going to change that because it's not designed to work.

And don't get me started on the school faculty. Most of them are spineless losers who let kids be bullied, berated, and abused by other students because they're scared to lose their job.

I find people who are against private, magnet, and charter schools to be brainwashed or charlatans. Either they don't know any better or they benefit from the kids being placed in inferior learning environments.
