You're using Subs wrong. Depending how much you use, don't touch Suboxine until at least 24 hours after your last use of any opiate. Taking suboxine too early can actually make it worse. Everyone is different, but I suggest you start off with half of a 8mg pill/strip (4mgs or so). Wait 30-40 min,, if you still feel the same ****ty, do the other half. Don't take anymore for a few hours otherwise you're wasting the suboxone. Easier said than done, but gradually weening your usage down for a couple weeks can greatly decrease your misery detoxing.

I reccomend having a good supply of benzos, muscle relaxers, and Ambien/saraquil(sp), anything to keep you sleeping as much as possible. You get past those 3 awful days and you're home free. Dealing with the depression and mental anguish that comes after is a whole new game. For me cannbis works great. Alcohol is the one you must stay away from, alchol is the true gateway in your case. drinking leads you down that dark path George’s.

There are many components to quitting alcohol including eg motivation and help from family.
One plan I found that successfully combines these is the Adoette drink plan (check it out on google) definately the most helpful plan i've seen.
