Well I do think us (white people) would learn a lot if we were enslaved and treated unfairly for over 300 years. Just to live what they had to live through. It'd be interesting to say the least.

That's ridiculous on so many levels.

First off, not every white owned slaves and/or oppressed others. That's how the Civil War was won by the North, they had a greater population, manufacturing, etc. And of their smaller population, only the very rich in the South owned slaves. But to hear people talk these days they act like every white person back then owned dozens of slaves.

Second, we don't punish people for the transgressions of their ancestors. What good does that do??
