Have Bing Movies Made Boxing Boring to Watch for Most People?

For non-boxing fans, it must come as a shock when they've just watched Creed or any of the Rocky movies before they watch an actual boxing match. Those movies throw in the blood, incredibly flush punches and all the action into a five-minute span at the most. So when they view an actual boxing match, it must come as quite a shock that neither guy is getting batted around the ring bleeding profusely by the end of the first round. I can't say that I didn't used to think that way when I was about 12 or 13 and just getting into boxing after being a Rocky addict. I think those movies might have raised the blood and guts bar to a level no real spt could ever reach. Any thoughts?

I grew up during the Mike Tyson Era.... Yeah it looked just like it did in the movies.
