Fair point
I see it that way because Ggg actually had precisely the same options as Canelo.
Neither of them can earn anything like the money fighting anyone else.
But the difference is that GGG cares about the belts. He wants to unify. He fought J and has tried to fight S.

Canelito will make more money in 1 fight with anybody than tripple beg will earn in 10 fights that is not canelito, that Japanese dude or Sanders because those guys have a decent fan base and will actually pay with their hard earn money to watchLast edited by pepzz; 06-02-2018, 04:39 AM.

Not that size wins every fights but these are big size differences naturally as Canelo was fighting at 140 at one point in his career. Then from his more recent slim down photos not hard to see he belongs at 154 with Charlo, Hurd, Andrade and Brook those guys more his size...They all taller than Canelo and walk around at about the same weight he does imo Canelo just likes to be lazy in between fights and not watch his weight like Hatton use to...Last edited by Realizniguhnit; 06-02-2018, 06:03 AM.

It should be fair 50/50. They claim that canelo can make 40 mil without GGG I just dont see that happening against spike or any other fighter for that matter. Eventually it will back fire if canelo ever wants a belt. I dont see jacobs or charlo taking then from GGG. They are good fighters but GGG puts on too much pressure for either to handle.

can't see it..... no way is Golovkin worth that
they will walk, and Golovkin will get nothing..... because.....
1) they owe him nothing
2) they can make nearly as much money fighting Saunders, because Golovkin is not a draw
Team Golovkin know this
they know that demanding 50% will kill the fight
as does any other serious observer..... he agreed to 35%, but now he wants 50% lol
it looks to me like Team Golovkin REALLY wants to fight Murata
there is a reason why they could not stop talking about Murata immediately following the Vanes debacle
If Golovkin walks away from the negotiations Canelo will end up fighting Spike or Lemieux. He might be lucky to bring in $10 mil. If the money is split 80-20 then it gives Canelo $8 mil. You do the math.
