I'm not supportive of sending American troops, but I do feel we should be arming the populace who is fighting for freedom.

The socialists disarmed them for a reason. If they are armed, they can fight back, and quite possibly win.

I understand that, but it will yield the same result in the eyes of the world = USA meddling in foreign affairs.

Every nation will point their fingers to us...whether we set foot on Venezuela or not, it will make no difference.

In fact, just our officials supporting the Guaido government is considered meddling.

I don't support Maduro and I hope his failed socialist regime falls, but what did they expect from the driver of the vehicle being stoned to hell to do?

Of course its going to get ugly, its a war zone out there...the unarmed citizens of Venezuela don't stand a chance against military soldiers armed to the teeth.

You gotta be on the lookout for the enemy, specially those with military vehicles.

The U.S. should not intervene in any shape, way or form. I am so, so sick of people blaming the US for foreign interventions. "Oh, the migrant crisis (on Mexi border) is the fault of the US meddling in South America."

We should do the right thing, and not worry a bit about what other nations think.

And without question the right thing is to support those fighting for freedom and against tyranny.

We were once supported in our fight for freedom against tyranny. We should pass that on to others waging that same fight.
