New boxing movie SOUTHPAW, Jake Gyllenhaal

Best boxing movies are the Rocky series, Raging Bull, The Fighter, Cinderella Man and The Great White Hype, which is an all time classic. A lot of people love Million Dollar Baby but it was not for me. Still haven't seen Grudge Match so I can't comment on that.

I've seen Grudge Match, I kinda enjoyed it abit because it was about boxing, and the chance to see 2 greats together, but as a stand alone film it is very poor, generic, predictable and poorly flowing.

Southpaw is an upcoming American sports drama film directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by Kurt Sutter. The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Rachel McAdams, Naomie Harris, Forest Whitaker, Victor Ortiz, Tyrese Gibson and Miguel Gomez.

Holy ****, I saw that same pic the other day and thought it was the boxer Gyllenhaal was playing. No idea it was him! Hopefully dey choreographed the fight scenes realistically. It would suck if it looked like a Rocky movie
