      Old boy was an awesome movie, but I dont see Jackson fitting the role to be honest. Seems more like a role suited for Nic Cage or Depp. Or maybe its just been while since Ive seen it.

          You know what I mean though yeah? I think Jackson may have too much energy for this part. I like Jackson, just not for Old Boy.

              I agree the lead character didn't really talk much in the movie not sure how Jackson would play it but yeah Johnny Depp would have been perfect for it IMO

                I hate when Hollywood remakes Asian classics and casts white/black actors in the rolls. When they borrow the elements and re-envision the movie it can work (Star Wards=Hidden Fortress, Fistfull of Dollars=Yojimbo), but the direct remakes/hollywood versions always pale in comparison.

                The American Ring, Shall We Dance, Dragonball (UGHHHHH), Grudge, Last Airbender, ect. all blew.

                **** never feels right. I keep hearing they're starting up an American Akira film again and again, I hope it continues to fail.
