Not sure if I completely agree with this but the second sentence goes into the point that we have been saying all along: If Haymon and company had the money from the get go, then they could have made a title unification fight in 2016 between Wilder and Martin. Didn't happen.

Luis Ortiz played himself on that one. He could have waited and fought AJ in March but instead went for the Wilder fight and then got hit with the illegal substance which took him out of contention. Takam got over 1 million dollars for fighting Joshua, more than double the amount that Ortiz received.

Martin wasnt interested in Wilder , he challenged Joshua . Wilder had fought Szpilka a month before Joshua announded his Martin fight in Feb . 2016 .


Theres literally no way Wilder could have fought Martin bc he fought Szpilka in January and the Joshua vs Martin was in motion after Wilder set up his Szpilka fight .


On top of the time line not adding up Wilder had a mandatory AT THAT TIME scheduled for May 2016 against Povetkin ........



So if Joshua fought Martin in April a month before a SHEDULED Wilder fight , how could Wilder fight either guy when he had a scheduled match against Povetkin in May which was announced in March ?

The Joshua vs Martin fight was actually scheduled before the Wilder vs Povetkin .


Dont you see , Wilder just ONE month prior to fighting Szpilka blamed ppl for ducking him but AFTER Szpilka he had a mandatory anyway against Povetkin .


The whole point of this really is Wilder didnt challenge Joshua aggressively until he defeated Breazeale , this was the same point where Dibella stated Joshua isnt ready for Wilder but then calls him a DUCKER after he defeated Klitchko in 2017 .........

Joshua literally announced the Martin fight in in Feb . 2016 when Wilder had a mandatory fight coming up next and he had just fought Szpilka in January , how would Wilder get a training camp in a months time ? Thats something he springs on opponents like Arreola , Washington .

Povetkin was at ringside for that Szpilka fight bc it was next and yet Wilder is claiming Joshua chose Martin ? lol

We know that no one has ever ducked Wilder. It's the Wilder fans that claim that is the case while saying nothing when other fighters have called him out and had offers on the table that Wilder rejected.
