Ali beat real top contenders before he ever said a word about Liston. He didn't talk about Liston after 12 prelim fights. He knew that would be just stupid talk. Lopez isn't even close to proving himself worthy yet. Maybe when he beats a top 10 contender the fight will make sense but he has not done that.
