  • Joshua vs Ortiz next?

WHY can’t we get this fight?

Joshua vs Ortiz is a really good fight with promise of fireworks and a knockout!

Why aren’t U.K. fans of AJ fans clamoring for this?

Why aren’t boxing fans asking for this fight?

We all know Wilder is tied up with the lineal undefeated champ Fury so why not Luis Ortiz who has only lost once in a FOTY contender against Wilder an undefeated champ and is still a viable top contender!

He was the first to stop Brandon Jennings something Klitschko couldn’t do.

Stopped Cojanu, something former champ Joseph Parker couldn’t do.

Stopped David Allen, something Dillian Whyte couldn’t do.

This should be the fight happening on April 13th at Wembley, not a rematch where AJ only got rocked in a round and brutally stopped Whyte!

Let’s get it, Joshua vs Ortiz at Wembley on April 13th!

Nobody has any interest in that fight. It would be like if Wilder decided to fight Povetkin after Fury. People want to see Joshua fight Wilder in April.

I would love to see this fight.
Ortiz nearly another year older so young AJ shouldnt have a problem.

All Joshua's fans ever do is shit on his resume but won't give him the opportunity of proving himself against the best/elite in heavyweight division. He remains the bogeyman; The most avoided and ducked fighter of his time. As much as I would love to see an Ortiz vs Joshua fight it won't happen because AJ is too afraid because Ortiz hits too hard. The coward will just continue to duck him like he does Deontay Wilder.

lol this hyping up or Ortiz has really gotten out of hand. Who did he ever beat to get this kind of hype anyway. Bryant Jennings? Tony Thompson? Povetkin hits just as hard as Ortiz and Klitschko much harder and Joshua beat both of them.

i'm a little tired of watching old geezers get beat up.

The saddest part about this is that a prime ortiz would prob run heavyweight. A prime povetkin would have out boxed joshua, a prime wlad would have easily stopped or outboxed johua

Would make sense, but no way are they taking that risk.
Look at his how his fans freak the fuk out at the mention of Ortiz. Not gonna happen. Not when they have trash can Whyte ready to go.

The bigger question is which elite fighter/champion/contender outside of Deontay Wilder ever gave him an opportunity? Anthony Joshua had an opportunity to challenge him but didn't. Wladimir Klitschko had an opportunity to challenge him but didn't. Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte both had opportunities but didn't give him a chance. So the list goes on and on but to this day, every elite championship contender and titleholder continue to avoid and duck this man. Why?

I must respectfully disagree with you. Ortiz is strong and punches like a fucking mule kick. He has the size and power to put a serious hurting on any opponent. He is 6'4 and weighs 241 lbs. There is no way that Joshua would have survived the shots that Povetkin had landed on him had that been Luis Ortiz. He is simply a natural heavyweight who is larger and stronger than Povetkin. Likewise with Sasha; Ortiz would have done even more damaged to him than Joshua did. He keeps his chin tucked and has a much better defense than AJ. He would have stopped Povetkin in less than four rounds.

The plan is Dillian Whyte. Haven’t you been listening to Hearn? If Wilder don’t sign right now, before he even fights Fury, then they’re going to fight Whyte.
