Do you understand why Bradley even got close to beating Manny, much less beating him? It's quite simple, and anyone who really watched it saw the same.
In 7 of the rounds Manny basically didn't show up until like the last minute of the round. The first two, he was coasting and largely inactive. Tentative. It's the same thing that cost him the fight against TBE.
This is a guy who literally swarmed Miguel Cotto. Who danced around Margacheato. Where was that guy?
That fight wasn't a robbery. It was a joke - because Manny didn't show up.
Now, let's see some REAL robbery examples.
Soto/Lorenzo 1
Lewis/Holyfield 1
Broner/Malignaggi
Lara/Williams
Garcia/Hererra
Hopkins/Calzaghe (arguably)
Only the last one is debatable. The rest are CLEAR examples of robberies. Especially Lara/Williams. There's simply no other answer on that one.
It wasn't a contradiction, maybe you misunderstood what I was saying, or I worded it wrong.
What I was saying is that, unless a guy basically dominates a 10 or 12 round fight winning the overwhelming majority of rounds, which would be 7 rounds (in a 10 round fight) or 8 rounds (in a 12 round fight), then it's not a robbery.
I didn't mean that you had to literally win 10 or 12 rounds in order for it to be a definitive robbery

It’s not the first time the 74-year-old Ford, a former chairman of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, has felt heat for a decision. Ford heard boos when he gave Pacquiao — yeah, there’s some irony there — a win in 2008 despite other cards that scored Juan Manuel Marquez as the better boxer.
Originally posted by Fox SportsThe Nevada State Athletic Commission’s executive director, Keith Kizer, said this week that he has no plans to review the fight, even though he acknowledged having Pacquiao ahead.
Commission chairman Skip Avansino told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that he was content with the scoring, while Ford defended his scorecard in an interview with the newspaper.
”I thought Bradley gave Pacquiao a boxing lesson,” [Duane] Ford said. ”I thought a lot of the rounds were close. Pacquiao missed a lot of punches and I thought he was throwing wildly.”
The man was damned if he did, damned if he didn't.

I have 3 ways of viewing when a decision doesn't match my scorecard
In some cases, a fight is so close, that it could easily go either way. In these fights, I just accept the official result. For example, I had JMM edging Pac in II and III (BTW I had Pac winning I). I just accept the official result.
If I think a result is clear, than I consider it a bad decision, and do not accept the result in my head. I would say Kovalev - Ward to be a bad decision -- almost a robbery. I mean conceivably, if you gave all the close rounds to Ward, you could get to 114-113 Ward, but I just cant accept it.
A robbery to me is when there is just no way the decision is possible. Pac - Bradley I was a robbery. I thought Oscar - Tito was a robbery too, even I despise Oscar and was a big Tito fan.

Basically, yes. And not just him either.

ALL THREE judges were suspended after Lara/Williams.
NO judges were suspended after Pacquiao Bradley 1.
There's only one explanation. One was a robbery; the other was not.
Period point blank.
Look, I'm sorry Duane Ford told it like it was - that your guy Manny was missing punches - but them's the breaks. That's why he lost to TBE. Same outcome

None of the judges got even a second look after Pac Bradley 1.
Why?
Because said fight was not a robbery. It was a close fight - closer than people think. Even Bleacher Report scored it the same damn way.
