Loeffler doesn't even have a clue how to counter such offer. He's clueless. His fighter wants to fight four times a year, yet this Loeffler guy is clueless how to get there. He should be spending some time with either Don King or Bob Arum. Get some training or something.

Otherwise, GGG should start considering signing up with Top Rank.

$10 mill is too much, $15 mill is just laughable. GBP is crazy to offer that much, Team GGG is delusional for rejecting $10mill, and if they did reject $15 mill then they really are into the big drama show, as in being divas.

If you take a lower guarantee with a percentage you might get burned. GGG is not a big PPV seller and Canelo is not as big as Oscar thinks. Take the money and run!
You really believe this fight does 700k buys ?

but nobody knows whats REALLY in the deal. When did Eric Gomez suddenly become this pillar of credibility? And who knows what rematch language is in the deal. Or does golden boy have an escape clause if Canelo loses an interim bout or puts it off to rematch chavez or something?

Whether they accepted the offer today, or spent another couple of months tweaking the deal, the fight isnt going to happen a single day sooner, so I dont know why everyone is getting their panties all bunched up

Sounds like K2 are either expecting an unrealistic number of PPV buys or are asking for a bigger split than they deserve

$15m is almost certainly more than they'd get from a fair split (~35%) unless the PPV cracked a million buys
