And Ward last fought 11-16-2013, against #6 SMW Edwin Rodriguez. After a 20 month layoff, he took a tuneup against Paul Smith, not 3. Don't tell outright lies when the truth only takes 30 seconds to Google dude.
Please don't defend the Rodriguez fight. You sound desperate. Three tune ups since draining Chad Dawson down to super middleweight.

So Ward Wasn't available to fight then?
Funny because he sure was talking like he was available and just waiting on on offer lol.
He even said that people were using his promotional problems as an "excuse" to duck him.
      So which one is it?
He was not available but was conning the public into thinking he was being avoided or he was available and just chose to not fight anybody for 19 months?
He's ****ed either way here lol

Ward facing a top 10 SMW doesn't need a defense. He cleaned up the division and then fought a guy ranked in the top 10.

Dawson volunteered 168. No matter how many times you say Ward drained him, it will never be true.

The above statements show that YOU are the desperate one hiding from the truth, not me

How is Kovalev taking a tuneup when he's an active fighter? In any case, his next opponent is a guy that he knocked out 2 fights ago lol. There's nothing to do at LHW, and fighting a guy that you dominated less than a year ago shows that.

Kovalev also isn't talking trash to make himself feel safe. He knows Ward is the real deal, and will prepare properly for him, not that it will matter.

          http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id...dre-ward-fight

Ward's 3 fight deal is contingent on Ward facing Kovalev at the end of it. I hope there's no excuses when Ward wins
Does Kovalev ever talk trash? And I thought his next opponent wasn't settled.

And sure, Ward shouldn't be fighting top ten LHW as Tune ups.

But this is his second SMW he dragged up to LHW.

This one is a SMW, 38, badly overmatched, and he only has 3 weeks to train.

These last two fights do nothing for him in terms of getting ready.

There are plenty of bad LHW he could tune up against.

          Sure.

Here is one for recent fights, except it hasn't been updated. For Lemieux.

          http://basementgymboxing.blogspot.co...s-list-of.html

GGG cam in at 170 for both Monroe and Lemieux.

You Can Google it. It's everywhere. GGG never hides his rehydration weight. And he owns belts that mandate the weights.

          He comes in a 170-171.

Not sure why that matters here. But in terms of Canelo fight, Canelo comes in 171-175.

Ward hides his fight night weight, but it's largely believed he comes in at least 185, maybe 190.

No, Ward talked his way out of the Bute fight in the post fight interview of the Super6 final, despite saying this before the fight:
            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kESjBFza_NQ

As for Dawson, watch Ward's team go ape**** in the press conference when Dawson and Shaw talk about who's idea it was for the fight to be at 168:
            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQwNn-jrV98

Virgil Hunter acting like a complete scumbag to take attention away from Shaw n Dawson letting the cat out of the bag lol

So two tune ups, neither actually a real tune up. Pulling SMW up to LHW, what's that!

I've been laughing at Ward all week.

By that logic, everyone volunteers for a CW.

If Ward won't fight at a CW, it's forcing someone down. If Ward had agreed to a CW, they would have done it.

Dawson had little choice if he wanted a shot at Ward.

He shouldn't of done it, because it hurt him bad.

And then Bute got destroyed by Froch. Do you seriously believe that Bute would have been any sort of a challenge for Froch, or do you just need something to nitpick?

Dawson called out Ward after dominating B-Hop, and plainly said that he could get down to 168 with no problems. Post whatever you like, but that's what happened, and no amount of spin doctoring will change that.

Dawson called out Ward, so how did Ward force him to do anything? He could have called him out at 175 and Ward could have declined. Instead, he called him out at 168 and said weight was no problem, and then complained after he got beat.

                      It matters because:

I don't believe GGG is as small as you would like us to believe.
