Legend has it that he's still searching for his soul that was taken away from him by the Matrix.

He had to give himself time to heal that hand. You don’t want to rush back after an injury like that

literlaly the only thing he had going for him was his "boogeyman" status, and once you get your ass kicked and quit that goes out the window!

he had one fantastic win, a shutout of bigger nonito donaire when he was one of the best pound for pound fighters in the world. otherwise his career was a huge, huge let down. and i know this is going to piss some people off, but that is because of his style! if you are not exciting people will not watch you fight or pay you six or seven figures to do it!
If you can recognise the skill rigondeaux has displayed at times then you can understand its a shame he wasnt better promoted when younger.

he had it all! speed, some of tthe best accuracy and timing of his generation, and real power! but when he wasn't looking spectacular he aactually kind of sucked! really! the amateurs ruinedhim. he had talent, talent, talent. he did't see the need to do damage and boxed for points, which is a hellish flaw in terms of being effective, but additionally can also be the nail in your coffin as far as a career goes. i'll never forget the night he fought in in AC against agbeko and literally 2/3 of the arena left. almost nobody stayed! if that doesn't light a fire under you you need to go back to amateur boxing, because you don't f#cking get it!

dude enough with this nonsense! they got a cuban who spoke no english onto major network TV and headlining cards! what else do you want? want them to slap people on the wrist when they tune into the fight and think it sucks?

                  promotion doe!

wrong! rigon..DOE! if somebody could make money off fo that guy they would have. this rhetoric that "the man" had it out for rigondeaux is just ridiculous! arum, HBO, they all tried!

the f#ck do you want them to do, sink more money into a dude who makes people turn the TV off or literally leave the arena? sheesh, you guys are f#cking clueless! rigondeaux was an underachiever and it's almost all his fault! the guy didn't change a thing about his style, he fought utnil he was a grown man and set in his ways as an amateur, and he has one good win to show for it, in spite of having very obvious, world class, once in a generation talent!

he got an Xray and it didn't show any breaks. take a year off for a bruised hand?! yeah f#cking right!

fighters have gone12 rounds with a broken hand before. great fighters have won.

rigondeaux is not fighting because he's not worth paying money! you guys really, really resist that idea, but it's a f#cking fact and one he brought onto himself! he migh tbeat your guys, he'll make them look awful in victory or defeat unless your name is vasyl.

his career is over, has little or nothing to do with that hand. it's not like the dude threw punches with his other hand, he literally ducked his head under lomachenko's waist, avoided punishment, and quite having hardly even been broken down. he quit and you should expect fans to quit on him!

nonito is at least a hall of famer. rigondeaux had one great win and spent [wasted] most of his prime as an amateur.

that rematch, now that i think of it, is probably the only fight i care to see rigondeaux in.
