whats the point of him fighting for free another 3 years when his amatuer record is 80+ wins only 9 losses ? RingStar picked him up and scouted him at the championships last year

I know you follow the amateur scene closer than me so I can't really argue much here but as far as the bold goes, his results at the Olympics kinda disagree with you.
2004, lost to Gold Medalist Zou Shiming
2008, lost to World Amateur Champion Lee Ok-sung
Any way you slice it, he got really ****ty first rounds draws at both olympic games, and with his 2008 loss there was some scoring controversy as it appeared Warren should have been the winner of the bout but his punches were not being consistently scored and he ended up losing, by 1 point.
But anyways, he was meeting guys he would normally meet in the finals in the 1st round.
Yeah he lost, but if the seeding would have been different, and he had met those guys later in the tournament, he could have easily come away with two olympic medals.

Andre Ward was the last male gold medalist.
What is the main catalyst for the decline in US boxing?
But who cares fuk Olympic boxing, it sucks.

Let's put Warren to the side for a minute. What do you say when the US has someone like Breazeale representing them at the Olympics?

Other countries have adapted. It helps cause that's all they train for unlike us who start thinking of the $$$$ right away.

Floyd broke the standard of Cubans schooling when he was at the Olympics and was robbed a gold medal like RJJ. The karma in that made him the best boxer of this era along in being at one point the highest grossing athlete in the world.
