How would Canelo do against Sergio Marvilla Martinez?

I think Prime MW Sergio is a more difficult fight than Triple G. Sergio was a good pot shotter who liked to move a lot (mostly laterally and cyclically) and Canelo has shown trouble finding those opponents (Floyd, Lara, Trout to an extent). Also, Sergio had incredible stamina and an incredible chin. His power was obviously the real deal too.

Canelo does best when guys come to him and Triple L is coming right at him which will at least make that easier for him

Sergio had horrendous defense and a suspect chin. Which is why he was dropped a lot to many weak fighters because he was always off balance or had his hands down. You simple can't do that with canelo who is too sharp with fast hands he would catch Sergio coming in with a counter. If he ran from him canelo would chop him in half to the body khan style to take his legs away. Come on yall slow azz Chavez caught him but you think canelo couldnt? SMH

Serg, for all his ring skills, really didn't have good ring generalship as he always got pulled into wars with Williams, pavlik, etc.. but Williams and pavlik were very tall rangy fighters, and it allowed them to land from a distance when serg was dancing on the outside. Canelo won't have that option, and won't be able to stop serg from potshotting him from the outside

The Williams that Lara fought was not close to the one Sergio fought. Williams was clearly shot in the Lara fight. The guy was in some wars and blocked punches with his face. Not an accurate barometer.

Hands down when he fights, dead tired letting bum slow chavez catch him and you seriously think canelo is not catching him? SMH

Chavez landed 178 punches at a high 46% clip all night. Could only land 71 punches on canelo at 23%. Sergio too hittable for a sharp puncher like canelo. Would run face first into a nasty timed countered like the one that Marquez put Manny to sleep with.

How losses did Paul have by KO stoppage? Lara swiftly outboxed Williams in a style not even remotely close to Sergio's knowledge. My point anyway is that Lara is higher game than Martinez
