  • "Money" Mayweather vs "Good Boy" Golovkin @ 154 lbs / 11 Stone: Who wins?

    Power: Golovkin
    Speed: Floyd
    Ring IQ: Floyd
    Defense: Floyd
    Conditioning: Golovkin
    Counter-punching: Floyd
    Ring Generalship: Golovkin
    Combination punching: Golovkin
    Chin: Golovkin
    Heart: Golovkin
    Corner: Floyd
    Experience advantage: Floyd
    Crowd pleasing style: Golovkin
    Hunger: Golovkin
    Reflexes: Floyd
    Punch Accuracy: Floyd
Ability to cut off the ring: Golovkin
    Footwork: Floyd
    Balance: Golovkin

I have Floyd winning the first 4 rounds outpointing GGG and boxing his ears off, then after round 5, Golovkin puts his ears back on, adjusts his distance, cuts off the ring more, and maintains a lower level and works his body, working his way back into a tie on the cards by round 10. Round 11 both fighters go toe to toe in the center of the ring and trade leather til the bell rings, and they are forced to separate by the ref, and Floyd sr, who runs into the ring Zab Judah fight style. Round 12 they meet again in the center of the ring and plant their feet and go blow for blow, until with 25 seconds left Golovkin drops him with a tremendous right hand that puts Floyd out cold for 40 seconds like JMM did Manny.

                  Fixed for you.

Floyd walks into the fight at a fit 151/152 lbs, uses his far superior footwork and longer jab (Floyd's reach is 72", while Golovkin's reach is only 70", a disparity compounded by Golovkin's broader shoulders) to get himself up 5-1 over the first six rounds, cruising the rest of the way home past a heavy-footed Golovkin. Down 7-1 heading into the 9th, Golovkin throws out the kitchen sink and Floyd makes him look inept, bouncing punches off of the ring ropes.

People need to lay off of the fiction.
