It is the exact same concept, both are star driven industries~ stars do numbers which is why star get paid regardless of the quality of their work.

As long as boxing stars make money people will put money into boxing so that stars come about so then they can reap the reward, most everyone gets fucked but at least there is a pot of gold that people shoot for which makes the risk sort of worth it, with out that little to no money would flow into the sport that would really be bad for the sport.
