Sorry Kova fans but it's obvious the judges knew who they wanted to win and scored accordingly. They had Kovalev up 5 points after the 6th round and knew one more Kovalev round meant Ward lost. So what did they do?
They decided not to give Kovalev any more rounds rather it is a close round (Round 12) or a round Kovalev clearly won (Round 10).
And you shouldn't expect anything different in the rematch which probably won't feature a knockdown since Ward will be more conscious early on and still bank rounds for simply surviving.
