grew up in the soft shell clam (steamers ) capital of hte northeast.
in my youth we would get licenses that allowed us to harvest up to a bushel of a bunch of different shellfish per day. per day! the most popular by a huge margin were the soft shell clams. they're delicious. you "steam" them (set them above a measure of boiling water in a covered pot.)

you want to know what a hard day of work is like? try being a commercial "clammer..."
by 40 your body will be completely used up.



i would eat ALL of that, earl. i'd be pumped, too. it looks like high quality and fresh shellfish.

big NE will eat anything, but he's quite partial to fresh (and even raw) shellfish.
