nutrition. sporting infrastructure. maybe talent. i don't know of a lot of indian athletes, so i can't tell you what they're good at.


india's poor people are legitimately mega-poor. it's awfully tough to grow up strong if you're legitimately starving and malnourished.

Not true. Great Britain fields a team in the World Baseball Classic in 2013. They suck, but they do try very hard. And they are all over 10 years of age.

Of course people over 10 play it, but I can only assume it isn't gard to break into as literally no one plays it. If I took up baseball tomorrow I'd have a good chance of eventually representing Britain as it is a sport in Britain that no one gives a toss about
