But that's the thing about being the lineal champion: there's nothing artificial about it. You can't get stripped and nobody anoints you. You either beat the lineal champion, or you don't. And Fury did...

So he's part of boxing history and if Wilder wins, he'll be part of history too. Not only that, regardless of who wins, they'll both be rewarded for stepping up (especially Fury). Joshua will be on the outside looking in and people will be wondering:

Why is he fighting Whyte, Pulev and Usyk?
Why isn't he on this list?

Joshua needs to fight the winner of Wilder-Fury, not the other way around...
Now lemme ask you a question based on your comment. How did WK inherited the lineal champ since he didn't beat Lenox Lewis?

Yes, he accepted and made a U turn in between. There is no dignity in that if he truly is interested to be great and undisputed, instead of wanting to sell the green belt.

Let's be clear here. Who was afraid of WK's power and ran scared claiming baby champ needs to mature after multiple fights.

They don't need the money. They are quite comfortable with their current situation and aren't interested in negotiating with someone who is greedy enough to demand 85% of the profits. Fury said it best in this interview (3 minutes in):

Wilder was a champion well before Martin, Parker and Joshua picked up Fury's belts. And they all avoided fighting him to, as you say, make more money for less risk. That should tell you who THEY think is the best fighter in the division. Who they KNOW is the real champion in the division...

Wilder and Fury are very different from Joshua, Parker and Whyte. Wilder and Fury only want to prove to themselves that they are the best in the division. And luckily one of them is the lineal champion.
Everytime you guys claim wilder has 50mil....he was champ before all the other dethroned champs you mentioned above yet he couldn't pay them out of the 50mil to unify.

Martin had to fly to the UK to defend his title while there was another champ in the US. What is the essence of the 50mil if you can't use it to pay other champs to unify.

Wilder is a scared champ that don't like to take risk and hold the green belt to randsom with the help Al Harmon and sulaimon.

It's a shame you are exposing him the more by saying he has been a champ long before other champs.

Keep licking assz and be feeling good.

You always get paranoid whenever I give you facts.

But I don't give a hook how you feel when the fact is been said.

"Joshua recently did an interview with Sky Sports Johnny Nelson answer fans questions and he was asked about the Wilder fight. The response by Joshua has caused mixed views as some people feel he is scared to fight Wilder and others feel he is right to say what he did.

Joshua never said the fight wouldn’t happen but it’s the when that is causing some people to ask more questions after many thought the stars were lined for this showdown in 2018. AJ highlighted the fact that Wilder turned pro in 2009 which is a year after he even picked up the gloves to start boxing at a time Joshua had no idea he would have gone to the Olympics never mind be a world champion so soon in his career.

AJ is keen to make the right decisions at the right time to ensure he has a long lasting career in boxing

..... as he feels he still has much to learn which is also the motivation that is keeping him going in the gym.

In the past, Joshua has stated that he doesn’t let people pressure him because no matter who he fights people will always pull out another name that he needs to face and beat to be great. As a result, Joshua is happy to move at his own pace so as far as he is concerned if the fight happens in 2018 then it does and he will be ready but if not then he will be ready to face whoever is put in front of him.

You should have posted when finkel said wilder is not ready to face wlad.

Nevertheless, it's childish for someone like you that claim to know the sport to say a unified champ is scared of wilder. Who de hell is wilder? Who has he defeated? What is his achievements? Whats his purse with respect to being the longest champ?

Am not even interested in what ever you are gonna post again. If you say the unified champ is scared, so be it. If you say the bought the belts at the WWE stores, so be it. I don't have energy for these lame arguments.

Cosign, got it on scholarship from Lennox. A retired lineal champion can not claim to the public an active fighter is the best in the world, it transfers the title. Lennox called Wlad best while Lennox was retired. During Tyson's retirement he continued to toot his own horn.

How did the title transfer when an unbeaten champion retired from the ring prior to sanctioning bodies?

The retired champion chose who the best man in the world was. Sometimes they just unretired and chose themselves.

Corbett did something similar to what Tyson did.

To me this is not but BS. A retired lineal will choose the next lineal, Lolx. Is it a kind of title appointment or what?

A lineal champ is won in the ring and lost when you retire or refuse to defend it.

                      Lennox Lewis (1998–2001)
                      Hasim Rahman (2001)
                      Lennox Lewis (2001–2004; retired)
                      Wladimir Klitschko (2009–2015)
                      Tyson Fury (2015–2016; vacated)

Tyson vacated the title after retiring for about 3yrs.

Technically, as the unified champ, AJ should/is the lineal champ.
