Trinidad had previously walked through and destroyed a talented middleweight champion in William Joppy. Trinidad was not moving up. He was already a middleweight belt holder when he faced Hopkins. Second, before the Hopkins-Pavlik fight you were one of the main posters talking about how Hopkins was going to get his ass kicked. now that it didn't happen you pull the weight card ignoring the fact that they fought a catch weight which benefited Pavlik. Not to mention that Pavlik is a huge middleweight who struggles to make 160. Comparing that to Delahoya -Paquiao is desperation from a hater. If you thought the size was such a factor then you would have mentioned it before the fight instead of the bull**** excuses you're coming up with now. You said Hopkins was going to get his ass kicked and now you want to make excuses like a bitter little girl. Hopkins is an all time great. Anybody who says otherwise is a hater or ignorant.
thats whats happening. people that don't like hopkins had an excuse built in just case the unthinkable happened. they pulled the weight card...lol. pretty good plan actually, because it negates the win in their minds. I don't think going to 170 from 160 is a huge deal. Like you said, Pavlik is a big middle.Last edited by Truth; 10-21-2008, 09:24 PM.

Hopkins is a dirty fighter who should have been disqualified many a times for disobeying boxing rules who's greatest fights where against smaller oposition. Hall of Famer, yes.
