But it does matter. Wilder knows it's not going to happen in the US because it won't make half the money it would in the UK. He's asking for the US because he doesn't want the damn fight.

If it takes place in the UK, Uncle Al won't be able to save him or skew the event in his favor. He is ducking Whyte because he knows Whyte is an actual fight and we all know Wilder hasn't been in an actual fight his whole career.

Back on topic. Wilder really does want the fight;howeer, I think it should take place in the UK if it does happen. It's obvious that Joshua has the bigger fanbase. They both stand to make a great deal more by having the fight on his home soil.

I think it comes down to the American boxing fraternity entitlement really.

There was always going to be a time when the major market for one of the major divisions moved away from there. It makes no more sense for Joshua to go America than it does for him go to Nigeria, or the UAE, or China, or wherever.

If he really wanted it next, he could do it, and DW would def head to the UK once he really sees the money involved in such package.

At least Wilder is building up this fight, and I don't think it's just him mouthing off: he wants the opportunity to fight AJ while AJ is still a hot item.
