Comments Thread For: Manager: Selby is The 'A-Card' in This Fight, NOT Carl Frampton

Did Frampton take 20,000 fans to Manchester for the Quigg fight? Even if he took 5,000 that would be impressive. Is Frampton known in the States? Is Selby?
All things being equal, who has a belt can be a deciding factor for who is the A side. Unfortunately for Selby all things are not equal. This outburst is just a negotiating ploy to get Selby's split up from 25% to 40% where it should be.

yeah not sure this type of talk is necessary
Will be selbys biggest pay day for sure and a fight I think he could win
Been a Selby fan for years and he need a defining fight ..... this is it . needs to take it even if it is in Ireland

I;m a fan of both guys but in Frampton is the A side in every department: skill, talent, achievements and finances.

Nonsense.
Selby is fighting on ITV undercards. Frampton was considered in the p4p top 10 by some before the rematch with Santa Cruz and has had big fights in New York and Las Vegas, as well as a pretty decent selling PPV fight with Quigg.

Selby would not have to "insist" he is the A-side, if he was actually considered that by more than just his team.
Frampton will win the rematch with LSC, too. I think Selby could beat a lot of guys out there, but not Frampton..

Sure Selby is
What a load of Sh.it
While Frampton fought his biggest domestic rival and went stateside and fought 2 big headline fights against LSC. Selby has been fighting nobodies on undercards yeah seems like he should be the a-side to me
