You know when we refer to climate change it means man made change.

Yeah it's been changing forever and it's going to keep changing. No one denys this. The question is are we contributing to it. Most scientist say yes. We have mico climates all over the world from human activity. Is it so hard to believe that the activities of billions of people cutting down forests, damming rivers polluting the air etc can change the overall climate of the world?

The Finnish study shows there is some measurable effect, just that it constitutes a tinier % of overall climate change, which is cyclical.

This is actually the prominent view in politically neutral circles so it's not breaking any new ground.

The idea that the population is split 50/50 between:
- People who completely deny mankind can affect the climate
- Al Gore types who predict we have 10 years left every ten years.

Is largely fictional...

The scary part for me is that the party hammering away at "solving" climate change flat out rejects addressing the sole remaining growth factor of human pollution/consumption in developed nations (mass immigration).

They relentlessly push for private property abolition & federal government empowerment which really have nothing at all to do with climate change and reek of a notorious ulterior motive.

That was actually a real environmental disaster. For a long time environmentalists didn't know/understand forest fires were a natural phenomenon required to save large trees (many of which are impervious to low-intensity fire) by burning away parasitic/invasive plants.

Redwoods/sequioas were dying out in part due to lack of forest fires because people were putting them out instantly and the science of controlled burns was in its infancy.

Armchair activists looking for a purpose in life without having any idea what they're talking about are just a tragic human disaster in general.

I live in the sierras, you should see the areas that burned about 10 years ago. You can pick out the spot from a long way away. Healthiest part of the forest.
