Matthysse definitely took a Dive

Everybody agrees Lucas fought a poor fight and show very little will to win. You are the only one I know of who said he took a dive. With all the world watching you would think someone else besides your self would spot it as a dive. I think he is a shot fighter who may have quit when he got beat up. I don't think he entered the ring to lose on purpose.

Using the word everybody in your first sentence is an erroneous statement. Not EVERYBODY thinks he fought a poor fight. I think you're either not paying attention or overlooking the content thats out there and in here. I'm about the 4th of 5th person in these forums to say it.

You have to ask yourself, how many people do you know personally that have a handicapping past? I don't want to get too deep into that because that chapter is closed, but I did very very well in that field.

Most people in the industry are just flat out scared to say fix. Bobby Czyz used to complain about fixes and he got run out of the industry for it. Look at what happened to Atlas last time he raved about a fix, he got canned. The only reason he's not saying it now is because he got his gig back.

With the amount of fight fixing in Boxing, you have to ask yourself how come nobody talks about it on a regular basis? I'll tell you why, because they're scared of getting run out of the business. Top Rank fixes fights on a regular basis, but nobody talks about it openly. Top Rank made me buckets of money over the years and I thank them for that, sort of.

Naw, Lucas is just passed it, plus, he was ruined after the eye injury.

Matthysse simply had no answer to the fight Pac was bringing to him. The hody shots Lucas absorbed from Manny sapped his will to continue. The jabs to the head accentuated the damage he was receiving. Then he spit the bit and it was all over for Matthysse. He didnt take a dive, he took a methodical beating he knew he couldnt overcome.
