Truth is those fighters are all overrated, if Showtime's fighters are better it's not by much. Who do they have? Mediocre bog standard fighters like Devon Alexander and Robert Guerrero, hypejobs like Thurman, Broner and Porter... Not to mention Quillin's bum ass.

Haymon/Showtime groupies do make for a good laugh I must say

It all comes down to what boxing is all about....the consumer's dollar and this thread has pointed out that if people are on a budget and had to choose between Showtime and hbo, they should choose to pay for hbo for boxing if they wanna see the creme de la creme

It's true but it looks like the Showtime hype has already died down as predicted. You only get it on their broadcasts, like the UFC hyping it's product on it's air waves, eventually it just becomes too disingenuous and backfires.
