  • Would Gennady Golovkin have fought Andre Ward if his family's life was on the line?

Since we all know how badly and embarrassingly and pathetically terrified, petrified, scared, fearful and shook he is at the sight of his god, his lord, his master, his annihilator, his slaughterer and his conqueror that happens to be the king that is Andre Ward. We all know he would never fight Andre Ward under any normal circumstances.

However, what if his family's life was on the line? Would he still avoid / duck Andre Ward like the shameful coward that he is or would he in that scenario, find the courage within himself to finally fight against his god?

Would Ward have dick punched in every fight if he lost a family member every time he did so?

Gennady wouldn't have a problem fighting Ward and I'm sure Ward would fight Gennady

All this scared/ducking talk of elite level boxers is for losers. Both fighters are decorated amateurs and unbeaten elite fighters

People on here are so quick to cry like some little b.itches that this fighter is ducking that fighter and look like complete f.agots in the process and guess what more often then not it gets made and the scared fighter usually wins

          People were saying

          Mayweather was scared of PAC
Garcia was scared of Matthysse and Thurman
          Ward was scared of Kov
          Canelo was scared of GGg

Gennadys team decided to stay at MW and pursue bigger financial fights with better odds of winning with Canelo and Cotto then if he fought Ward . Which eventually happened with Canelo and now there'll probably be a rematch

It's the same reason Ward was looking to fight Golovkin probably a easier fight and more financial reward then fighting Kov who has no fans and can't draw flies to sh.it

Look Ward / Kov did 160k buys or something and like 140k in the rematch Canelo / GGg did around 1.3 million and Gennady probably made more $ then Ward probably for both of those fights combined

Looks like Gennady and his team made the right choice

And being scared had nothing to do with why that choice was made

Why are you bringing up Ward Kovalev and their revenues from the 2017 fight year when the question begins at 2013.... "I need time for Ward." -Golovkin (2013)

Funny, Ward was saying the same thing in 2015

Because those were Wards options for PPV fights GGg or Kov since they were all aligned with HBo

And GGg / Ward would have been a bigger financial fight and probably a easier fight for Ward that's why he pursued that option first

It's pretty f.ucking relevant why GGg / Ward never materialized

Stop with 1 sentence quote from 4-5 years ago. It proves nothing except that for whatever reason it comforts you thinking a fighter you don't like is scared of another fighter

I don't think it's unrealistic for a fighter that would be jumping up in weight against a prime P4P to need some time to adjust to the new weight and make sure their at their best you know the exact same thing Ward did when prepairing for Kov

                    I dunno.

Would a nun do ass to mouth if the Pope's life was on line?

Isn't that the real question, here?
