  • Floyd fans justifying floyd's performance

so im seeing a lot of post from the floyd fans stating that floyd let conor hit him in the early rounds to tire himself out.

remember when ggg fought brook, and ggg walked forward for the first few rounds and ate punches? ggg fans said he did that because he didnt have any respect for brooks power and he was pushing for an early ko, remember what the floyd fans say about it? (ggg got exposed)

now they're doing the same with floyd, saying he did that on purpose to give the fans their money's worth and the let conor tire himself out.

There is a difference between purposely getting hit and completely disregarding your opponent's power, I felt Golovkin disregarded Brook's power but at the same time got hit with shots a man with his kind of hype shouldn't have got hit with. It's not always black and white.

McGregor can't punch, the easier route for Mayweather also happened to be the more exciting route for the fans and Mayweather took it to him. You have an opponent who can't punch, stand in front of him with a high guard, make him punch himself out whilst working the body.

Mayweather didn't respect Conor, he didn't have to use the usual defensive tactic against such a poor opponent.

Golovkin fanboys mad that Floyd could fight the same way as golovkin against a dude who was 20lbs bigger at 40 years of age. Stop letting your hate blind you and appreciate the man one time. When he outboxes a guy smartly he's "boring", when he engages he's "arrogant", and when he walks the dude down like he's nothing he's "washed up". Give the man his props, he's unbeatable no matter who stepped in the ring with him so you haters try to disqualify anything he does. Pathetic

im far from a mayweather fan but he cant win with you lot. if he boxed defensively and got a 120-108 youd have slated him for not taking any sorts of risks. he fought on the front foot with the gameplan clearly being to break mcgregor down and deliver a stoppage, hes now being slated for not winning every round. Who gives a **** if he lost 2 or so rounds at the start when he was sizing up mcgregor, is it really that big a deal?

Great post. Shame that it had to be wasted on a poster that can't understand the nuances and strategies of the sport.

                    What's to justify?

He walked the clown down using next to no skill and beat him up and stopped him.

Did what he was supposed to do.
