A movie JUST about the trilogy would not work at all.

I don't think they'd fall into that trap, given what they've already done.
There'd be plenty of personal/family drama with the trilogy as backdrop.
It'd be tricky casting Gatti, though...lol.

It would be a "generic boxing movie" and I doubt the studio would go ahead with it. Studios avoid boxing movies like the plague these days.

watched this film last night, thought it was average and pretty obvious they were going to make a follow up....the film ended just before the gati trilogy lol
