Is Liddell the highest paid MMA fighter in the world?? I wonder how much more money these guys get from their sponsorship deals. Probably makes their UFC purses look like peanuts.

Come on man its not like if Liddell is sponsored by Nike. He must make a nice ammount but regardless, his fights have sold 900k PPV and he gets paid less then Barrera or Marquez made for there fight.

In wasn't comparing Liddell to Jordan!

A handful of fighters in the UFC are on contracts and they recieve monthly salaries where a large majority of them are paid on a bout to bout basis.

From what I remember, all UFC fighters are on contracts, whether they're ranging from one fight to 6 fight contracts. However their benefits are taken care of year round, as long as they are under some kind of UFC contract.

Basically their paydays are seasonal (if you can call it that) but they are employed year round, because all of the fighters are under exclusive contracts, so they can't fight anywhere else.
