Arum is probably seething as well after having signed Fury up. Haha.

They had their chance and blew it by being cowards. Good.
That’s the thing, showtime would breathe a sigh relief now. The pressure of paying a lot more would calm down a bit now. Which means everyone is phucked.

The big 3 HWs all lost tonight. Fuk AJ, Wilder, and Fury and their scam to bleed the fans.
Well, if you look at most of the posts here and the reactions on Social Media, people are celebrating Wilder and as if Wilder won tonight, not Ruiz. Otherwise i actually agree with you.

Seems like AJ fanboys are the only ones obsessed with Wilders money. All of a sudden now he would’ve made 100M dollars when you weirdos have spent the last year saying he wouldn’t get more than 13M.

Exactly, they are trying to twist the narrative again 😂. Fact is now they got nothing. Even if Joshua wins back those belt the ultra look is done for all those potential matchup. Joshua would still get paid whatever I guess but even he is in a vulnerable position at the moment. He has sponsorship deals to deal with, you can be losing and get a pay rise.

More stupidity from you brits, wilder won big tonight, first ruiz is with pbc so if he beats aj in the rematch undisputed will be easy to make, plus with ruiz being Mexican they gonna get behind him like they do all they fighters,a few fights as champ and he can be as big as canelo,a Mexican vs black American for the undisputed heavyweight championship is a 100 million dollar fight In America and nobody has to leave the country

Exactly. Wilder has taken 3 huge hits in his career, by fights he wasn't even involved in.

              1) Wilder spoke about being the one to end Wladimir Klitschko's 10 year reign. Fury got the upset, then Joshua retired Wlad.

              2) Wilder wanted to unify with Fury in 2016, then Fury's downward spiral took him out of the sport for 2 and a half years. By the time Wilder-Fury happened, Fury didn't have the belts and he was still trying to get back into shape.

              3) Joshua takes his first loss to Ruiz (by TKO no less), and even if he wins the rematch by KO, the Wilder fight takes a huge hit.

Wilder vs Klitshcko in 2015, Wilder vs Fury in 2016, and Wilder vs Joshua in 2017-18, all would've been big money legacy fights.

Fury was seen as a has been 7 months ago, and now he's in the best position. He had a draw against Wilder (at a time when he was still in "get back" mode) and Wilder was at his peak, Fury was the one who dethroned Wladimir Klitschko when Wlad was on most P4P top 10 lists, and he's now the top British Heavyweight (and undefeated).

Fury now has even more motivation to look great in his fight in 2 weeks.

It crazy that Wilder turndown $100 millon dollar for a fight he was going to win, now his only hope for AJ not to retire or AJ beat Ruiz in the rematches

This is an incredibly dumb thought process.
                  1. Wilder losing money he never had. I believe he was offered a 3 fight deal for $100 million I believe that's being reported. Fight Number 2 and 3 were vs Joshua who would need to [B]win[B]his fight beforehand, That he just lost
Hearn and Joshua got cute trying to put the BIG fight on Dazn to build their brand instead of PPV to maximize the profits, because you know anybody can get knocked out at anytime so you should make as much possible Immediately and upfront. Wilder isnt just some dumbass country hillbilly from Alabama. He has a smart dude working behind the scenes on his behalf.
Joshua is the pu$$y who let an out of shape fighter beat his @$$ He was losing badly before getting knocked out, I dont give a d@mn what the scorecards said.

It was $100 million for 3 fights when, he should have been offered $100 million for 1 fight with AJ alone

Build-up? Was there any need? They only had to fight each other and get big bucks each and a very high profile win for either boxer now it's gone from the table. Thanks to AJ and big thanks to Wilder for not taking the offer. Enjoy AJ's lost goodbye big pot
