He comes from a place that has a high hispanic population as well as fighting in Mexico. I was a fan of his way before Cotto. When he sparred Margarito I knew he was getting good sparring with Trout.

I don't remember Mexicans supporting Stevie Johnston all that much. He's from Denver, a metro area with 1/3 Hispanic population and a state with 1/4 Hispanic population as well.

It's probably due to Trout beating Cotto.
