Pac was actually much worse, he bought the little guys up, and he bought the big guys down..... he contractually manipulated a weight advantage over his opponents, sometimes draining them.....

..... the ONLY difference is, Canelo does not drain his JMW opponents, he gives himself an extra pound that they likely don't benefit from.

Ignoring the fact that Canelo has never fought AT middleweight, and the fact that he has never fought A middleweight..... is at least remiss, if not dishonest.

Canelo has never stated that he is a middleweight, let alone THE BEST middleweight..... and yet Golovkin has been stating that he can beat anyone at 154 for the last 3 years.....

I opened with that statement, but it wasn't the cusp of my argument. My main point is that Golovkin shouldn't have to lose weight to fight somebody who has a belt in the same class as him, yet walks around heavier than him. That's a clear disadvantage. Anyone who demands that of him has no confidence that Canelo can win at equal weight.

I disagree about Cotto. He's past his prime. Canelo beat him, as did Floyd, Pac, Trout & Margacheato. Only Floyd has beat Canelo. he's in his prime & has a MW belt. He's the biggest money fight out there that is naturally closest to Golovkin's weight. Besides, Cotto has expressed utter reluctance to fight Golovkin.

u are so clueless hahahahahaha. the only catchweights that were to pac's advantage was cotto and maybe margarito. oscar challenged manny at 147 when he was just a lightweight, so it's not his fault. so that means 2.

and what smaller fighters did manny (who is a small welterweight) bring up???? algieri was 5'10" and outweighed manny. bradley is about the same height as manny and outweighed him on fight night. marquez is slightly taller than manny and outweighed him too. hahahahahahahhaa. again, manny isn't bringing up guys two weight classes below him and outweighing them by 20+ lbs like ur fraud hero canelo.

and again manny is a former flyweight world champion that didn't start using catchweights until he reached welterweight. canelo is a former jr. middleweight champion who refuses to fight at 160 lb limit where he is champion. doesn't take a genius to see that what canelo is doing is worse.
