I'm not going to take a defeatist attitude. If Wilder wants to continue fighting, I support him. I want to see how he comes back from his first knockout loss. If he loses again, there's no shame in that. But let's give the man a chance just as we've given past champions the chance at redemption.

Ward is correct with a lot of what he’s saying but a lot of people are saying the same thing. Ward is a very skillful speaker for a boxer and he is capable of saying some very nasty things about you in an eloquent way so most people won’t realize how nasty what he is actually saying is.
Ward begins by talking about boxing issues and then talks camp and team issues. Very respectful statements even if they are critical statements.
He states his piece about the boxing issues but by the end of article it switches to Ward’s personal distaste for Wilder.
He quietly suggests that wilder won’t take the fight because he’s basically a coward but if he takes the fight he’s a broken bully anyway ( bullies are cowards is the general belief) so he is essentially still a coward.
Ward made a comment after the first fight that wilder would run away and be a coward and not fight fury. ( he later backed off the statements after some pressure)
Many retired great fighters criticize and dislike wilder as a fighter (especially skilled boxers) but most of them don’t go into the personal and manhood criticism that ward does. Although most of those boxers aren’t such smooth speakers.
This will hit the public some people will complain and ward will claim he meant no harm and he’s been misinterpreted.
Such a smooth speaker who rarely misspeaks. Misinterpreted again about the same guy on the same issue. Hmmmmm. Not a mistake.
Wonder what their (wilder and ward) true issues are. Perfect timing for UK fans to pile on with him and ward can get maximum salt into the fresh wounds

But Wilder needs to fire some people, work on whatever fundamentals a fighter his age can work on, and fight 2-3 other guys who are not very illusive and then do whatever he has the burning desire to do if that includes a rematch with Fury. But I think in a 3rd fight Fury might even change up so more and fight in a style somewhere between the first and second fights and win a decision or late stoppage.

Saying a member of his own team thought he was going to get knocked out cold is also patently true, or else why throw in the towel? They didn't think he was going to turn the fight around; they didn't think he was going to be outpointed; they thought he was going to get properly hurt (more than he already was).
That Wilder doesn't like that is already evident from his quotes saying he needs to straighten things out with Mark Breland.

Other guys might beat Wilder too. We don't know if Wilder is that good he hasn't fought anyone outside of Fury, who just wooped his ass.
We don't know if he could beat an Andy Ruiz, I could see Ruiz hammering Wilder in a terrible way tbh.
