Where does Dariusz Michalczewski rank on the ALL Time LHW List?

Kind of hard to say for me. Dariusz was a good fighter, but I have to say, he's been overrated. Alot of people claim Roy avoided him etc, but if anyone saw how good Roy was back then, they'd know Dariusz would of gotten stopped within a 5-6 rounds, atleast IMO. Don't get me wrong here, like I said Dariusz was a very good fighter, but I've seen people on here go a little overboard when it comes to how "great" Dariusz was.

Where would you rank the "Tiger" compared to other light heavyweights of the past?

Michalczewski, I would say it's safe to rank him in the top 25 LHW of all time. Not a bad fighter either.
Darius hid out in Europe for 100% of his career. He did not achieve his record by fighting the best available. He did it by padding his record.
And guess what?
Richard Hall was beating Darius' asss before the Euro ref stopped the fight over Hall's eye. Hall was giving Darius a one way beating, but the ref unjustifiably stepped in and waved off the fight. They saved Darius.
Then Julio Cesar Gonzalez ended Darius' winning streak with an excellent performance.
Both men were toyed with by RJJ like children.
Darius is a lot like Calzaghe in that they hid out in Europe and heavily padded their records. Neither man was willing to face a prime RJJ because neither believed that they could conceivably win.
Both men will be called HOF'ers. Neither man was great IMO because their records are manufactured with extreme padding.
Michalczewski never stepped up.
Calzaghe waited until both RJJ and BHOP were older fighters to even consider meeting them.
Its no coincidence.

Dariusz's reign in boxing is nothing like the K2 bros. He won, but I just didn't agree with his fight selection and resume.

He is comparable to Vitaly, Vitaly might have the edge just for pure domination of fights.
Random to campare him to HW's one of them being a HOF'er though.

Brother Jay made a reference to the majority of his fights being overseas; this is why I made the K2 bros comparison. Being that they are really the only Europeans to get true credit for dominating a division while the majority of their fights being overseas.
Does this make sense?
