  • Carl Froch: "I Just Spoke With Golovkin's Team Face to Face"

Carl Froch gives his analysis of the Fury vs Klitschko fight and then mentions at the end that he just talked face to face with Golovkin's team members after being approached by his PR guy!

Could a megafight be brewing as the Cobra puts retirement on the back-burner and returns to the ring to possibly destroy yet another rising talent in GGG?

    Update:

Froch speaks with Golovkin's promoter Tom Loeffler at the Fury vs Klitschko weigh-in and asks where GGG, who will be in attendance, will be situated on fight night because he wants to talk with him face to face. What sort of drama might unfold in the meeting is anyone's guess, these two might go at it bare-knuckle style in honour of Fury's gypsy heritage (if he wins)?...

Froch should stay retired or his second career will end with a loss.

Pretty sad if this fight happens to be honest..fight a old retired slow 1 dimensional fighter at 168 but not a prime young Ward..

Like I was saying before only if GGG is getting a real money fight , He move away from his plans of getting all belts for a min...

GGG vs Froch, Chavez Jr, Mayweather are the only money fights without a belt, Canelo is money fight with a belt....

Now let look at the name this forum is talking about

          Tureano Johnson
Must fight him or give up his IBF belt , should fight him next get that out the way so you can go after only world champions
          Erislandy Lara
          The guy has no belt
          Demetrius Andrade
          The guy has no belt
          Peter Quillin
The guy has no belt, but if he beat Jacobs then you can add him
          James DeGale
The guy is talking about coming down to 160 , just chill and wait GGG need two belts then you can fight him at 168

^^ Remember GGG will hit 34 in 2016 , He need to get all belt now , so he can move up to 168

Win or lose, Froch vs GGG would be a hell of an exciting fight, as would Froch vs Degale, Kovalev, Hopkins, Pascal (II) and even Ward (II) etc.. If Froch keeps fighting he could surely make at least another 20 million in 2 years (even if he lost every one of those fights) and give boxing fans some real treats along the way.

GGG would earn the same if not more money fighting Ward as he would fighting Froch or Chavez Jr. He is avoiding Ward because GGG and his team know that he will lose. They think he has a good chance against Froch and Chavez Jr. and that is the only reason why he is mentioning their names.

In spite of what you and all his other fans think, GGG is still a nobody trying to make a name for himself by getting a fight with a big name opponent. In other words, he is in the same boat as DeGale, Johnson, Quillin, Andrade and Lara.

Golovkin's team is still begging Froch for a fight, just as they are begging Alvarez for a fight.

A retired, slow and one dimensional fighter that would still be too wily and smart for Little G.

Froch has largely dismissed a comeback, and if he would make a comeback it would be at 175. He can't and is not interested in making 168 anymore. Froch will stay retired, he's just teasing the media.
