Well if it's anything we know, the Constitution was designed to never be amended.

Yeah, and what does that have to do with the electoral college? Keep your blue ass in whatever crumbling blue city you're in, but don't think that because there are millions of others like you in that city that you should dictate how I should live my life thousands of miles away from you.

And Senators weren't supposed to be elected and they still shouldn't til this day. We need a repeal of the 17th amendment.

No it doesn't, not if enough of your ilk migrate to a red state and turn it blue. What do you exactly think happened to Virginia, and is slowly happening to North Carolina?

Simply the rules don't apply if the outcome is not what they expected or wanted

Because then Senators would represent the states instead of the federal government. Now we got 100 mini-president's.

Senators are supposed to represent the interest of their state to the federal govt just as Representatives are supposed to represent the interests of their districts to the federal govt.

Do you feel your Senators represent your state or do you feel like they represent the federal govt?

You're a conservative and don't support the Federalist system?

And that part hasn't been amended.

                      Thus no controversy.
