  • how come they're having such a hard time building new stars since pac and floyd left?

i mean canelo is probably the biggest "star" in boxing right now. he's somewhat of a household name, with an especially strong base in Mexico and the US.

Golovkin is particularly big in Asia but this comes as no surprise as he's the biggest Asian boxing star since Pacquiao. but he's not really known elsewhere. his base in the US is california, but nowhere else.

and the saddest part is that canelo and golovkin are at their highest peak as far as being internationally known "stars". they won't get any bigger than they currently are, meaning they won't even come close to being on the ODLH, May, or Pac level.

they might very well be boxing's last stars.

Because none of them are nowhere near the talent of Pac or May. I mean look at the comp the two had to go through at the age 23. Barrera, Corrales, Morales, Castillo, Marquez, etc. Etc.

Because you need a superstar from a country where superstars are as rare as Rocking-Horse sht, that's what creates all the moron fever, then you need a big mouth that's a threat to that moronic mentality so much so that it scares them, then the scene is set for a gigantic collision, one fighter cart get to the level those two got to without a dance partner, if Manny was from the USA he wouldn't have had the following he had.

AJ is the biggest star in the sport.

Canelo is a distant second at this stage.

AJ could certainly become bigger than may and pac.

                    First of all

Pac is not on Floyd's level.

Not a chance in hell that AJ becomes as big as Floyd or pac to a lesser degree....he's not good enough.
