Worst nickname ever. He hasn't been "Mr. Big Shot" for the large majority of his career and the last time he earned that nickname was years ago.

Steve Nash can hit the big shot, and has.

Nash doesn't play any defense at all, out of all the regular season MVPs in NBA history he's been by far the worst defender out of all of them. Even now Nash is one of the worst if not the worst defender in the NBA.

He was just a pretty good role player for the first 8 years of his career, it wasn't until he joined the Suns when he was finally great. D'Antoni's system allowed Nash to become the player he is today, it's such a fast paced offense, score, score, score, and it's been that way even after he left, no defense has to be played. Who knows how good Nash would be in another system, he may return to that above average role player he once was.

Nash had a tendency to wear down by the time the playoffs came around. Add in the no defense aspect and that means its Billups for me.

I'll give it to Nash, he made Amare look like a decent player (statistically). That says a lot.
