its a highlight video i know....but theres alot of real clean work there....punch stat domination and a stoppage....kovalev was sapped

Punch stat domination?

Kovalev threw more and landed more. Albeit at a lesser percentage than Ward, but overall he had higher numbers in thrown and landed stats. Kov was the busier offensive fighter.

Ward was exhausted after his final flurry, and if the ref did his job properly, deducting a point from Ward and giving Kovalev his time to recuperate from the trio of lowblows, the outcome was really not written in stone.
